1. i finished reading the day's edition of the chicago tribune.
2. realized that google celebrated eric carle's very hungry caterpillar today.
3. listened to "the story" on npr.
4. read that prostitution arrests when up 4.5% in chicago for the first 2 months of 2009. in january and february of 2009, there were 584 arrests. in january and february 2008, there were 559 arrests.
5. saw a recent photo of charles manson -- he's still creepy.
6. exchanged a few emails with my best friend from the 4th grade.
7. checked my voice mail.
